Your role:

Vandemoortele Professional is part of the Vandemoortele family, and we work to support the growth of professional consumers in Foodservice & Specialty Stores. We propose smart solutions & a dedicated portfolio of tasteful products for our consumers.

As Key Account Manager within Vandemoortele Professional, you are passionate to drive the customer’s business through the Vandemoortele product portfolio, and you behave as an “intrapreneurial” business developer. You seek proactively for new business opportunities outside & inside the existing customer portfolio; you step up to a more customer driven collaboration and you take care of our company’s strategy. Your customer portfolio is within the Belux Foodservice & Artisan Bakery channel.

 

Your key responsibilities:

  • to be a Key Account Manager: you put the customer growth pace needs at the first place, build customer relationships and develop long term profitable volume growth,
  • to be an entrepreneurial Business Developer: you analyse customer trends and build your channel business plan,
  • to be part of the Vandemoortele teams: you express winning team spirit in a natural way.

Are you the one we’re looking for?

  • You have a Master’s degree in economics, Business, Marketing, etc...,
  • You have at least 3 years of successful commercial experience in FMCG, and preferably expertise in professional area (Foodservice),
  • You own analytical skills and problem-solving mindset,
  • You are experienced in account planning & negotiation skills,
  • You are able to express yourself in Dutch, French & English, both written & orally.
  • You combine ambition & passion for result with a proactive approach
  • Relevant IT skills: mainly Office but also familiar to work with CRM-tools, and
  • You are eager to learn & to develop, and open for mutual honest feedback,
  • You own interpersonal sensitivity & empathy and embrace our corporate values
  • Last but not least: you are a food lover and/or passionate about food
