About the role

We are looking for a motivated intern to contribute to strengthening our allergen management processes, ensuring alignment between headquarters and the bakery production sites.

Within the Group Quality department at headquarters in Ghent, we support our production sites in a wide range of quality and food safety topics. During this internship, allergen management will be the key focus area. You will provide structured support in documentation, communication, and training activities on this topic across the organization.

Key responsibilities:

As an allergen management intern, you will support the Group Quality team in the following areas:

• Develop allergen training materials with Easygenerator
• Assist in maintaining accurate allergen data for supplier and customer specifications
• Help manage allergen documentation and databases

What we’re looking for

• Student in Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and structured way of working. Comfortable working with data and documentation.
• Interest in food safety and basic understanding of allergen management.
• Available for a minimum of 2 months.
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn within a professional QA environment.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and effective training materials.
