Your role 
To support our export team for frozen bakery products, we are looking for a Customer Care Intern as of February 2026. You will actively participate in order management from A to Z, business development and customer service for an international customer portfolio.


Your mission  

Supporting the team in the following potential tasks and responsibilities: 

  • Collect information from different stakeholders and enter forecast in APO system
  • Order entry in SAP system, manually and via OCR
  • Follow-up on orders: check stock availability, coordinate with production planning, request transfer of products, organize transport and prepare the necessary export documents
  • Optimising orders to a full load and propose logistical and product alternatives if necessary
  • Support the preparation of product demos and client meetings, and participate in follow-up activities such as sample shipments to customers and prospects
  • Follow-up on overdue invoices and blocked orders due to exceeding credit limit
  • Update and maintain the system with accurate and timely customer master data
  • Prepare credit and debit notes according to internal procedures
  • Follow up with customers and suppliers by email for basic inquiries and support
  • Register and follow-up on complaints in internal systems and reporting tools
  • Prepare KPI reporting (lead times, non-conformities, forecast accuracy)
  • Work on a mini project (e.g., internal survey, internal process improvement analysis, transport tender, market study), to be presented at the end of the internship

Are you the one we’re looking for? 

  • You’re a Bachelor student in Business Administration/Management, Marketing, Sales or a related field, looking for a challenging internship in Ghent, Belgium, with a min. duration of 2 months.
  • You have excellent communication & administrative skills, written and verbal, in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
  • You have affinity with and a strong interest in administration and sales.
  • You have a customer and solution-oriented mindset with an eye for detail. 
  • You like variation, complexity and you can plan well in advance. 
  • You’re an energetic, ambitious and motivated student, ready to take your first step in the professional world.
  • You’re a passionate food-lover.
